Have a REALLY LARGE PUMPKIN?
We have helpers on hand at the tractor unloading zone with large dollys who will help you get your large pumpkin to the weigh station and to your car.You can choose pumpkins direct from our patch or if you see one in town that you really love, feel free to pick it up and take it to our weigh station. We accept cash and credit/debit cards at our weigh station.
We have a variety of food, snacks, treats, and drinks supplied by outside vendors. All accept cash and most accept credit/debit cards.
You are also allowed to bring outside food. We only ask that you refrain from bringing glass containers. Please dispose of your trash in our pumpkin trash barrels/bins located around the grounds.
- Please ensure that your dog is well-behaved, on a short leash, under control and doesn't disturb other guest, children, or farm animals. This is for everyone's safety and enjoyment as Mile High Farms is not responsible for the safety of your dog. You will be asked to remove the dog if they are creating a disturbance or are a danger to other guests.
- You must immediately and completely clean up after your pets. Please bring materials to clean up after your dog.
- Due to the terrain in some areas (especially the pumpkin patch) there can be prickly "goat heads", thistle, and cactus that could poke and stick to the bottom of their paws. If you have booties for your dog, we encourage you to wear them. Your dog may not want to walk with you as it will hurt them.
Unfortunately we do not have an ATM on site. If you are in need of cash we suggest that you either stop at the Corner Store Gas Station right as you exit I-70 on the way to the farm, or ask one of our friendly farmers in our ticket booth if they can run your card.
Yes, face painting is available by All About Fairies, prices vary.
The weather can change quickly, so be sure to pack for sun, wind, sprinkles of rain and everything in-between.
Be prepared to see small critters and insects ranging from rabbits and foxes, to spiders and bees. While we do our best to keep our activities free of potential stings and startles, we ask that you understand that this is a farm and you will encounter mother nature.
Bring your cameras for great fall photo opportunities and your attentiveness.
We prefer to call a bad weather day before we even open and will post ALERTS on our social media pages to notify everyone if we will be closed due to inclement weather.
So if the weather seems questionable before you even leave home, check our FB page to make sure we are open.
BUT on occasion we may have to close mid- day due to heavy wind, rain, and sometimes even snow. If we do close mid-day please stop by our ticket booth on your way out to pick up a rain-check ticket for another day.
